Something I've noticed

I notice that when everyone talks about the book series they loved as teens are always, always, always either twilight or hunger games or vampire academy. I never see a booktuber ever mention the vampire diaries or the divergent series. Twilight was quite the embarrassing fanbase to be part of. Hunger games is still a good series to reread now and again. But what about divergent? What about vampire diaries? Yes, both series have your typical teen insta-love/drama that was popular but come on guys....give those books some love too. 🖤

😮😮😮📚📚📚

I haven't written anything for this blog in a long time and for that I apologize. Today, however, I wanted to share this: my local shelter hosts a book sale twice a month to raise money to take care of the animals. All the money made during the sales goes straight to them. Most of the books are also donated. I try to go every year. At least to one of the sales. Particularly in april when they have it , it's usually close to my birthday then. But it's a charity and books for a decent price. Even find books that are hard to find which is great for a bookworm like me. If you go over to my Instagram which is crazybooklady49 then you will see the picture I posted of the books I got.
Meanwhile, happy reading! 📚

Heads up

I just wanted you all to know that  if I happen to misspell words in my posts now..its because I am getting used to my new phone.
The touch on it is way more sensitive then on my s7.
Thanks for understanding

Back again

Still here, just continuing reading three books....yet again....this time it's pride and prejudice for my May classic and a court of wings and ruin and shadow spell

How many?

I have finished three books since my last blog update.  I have finished immortally yours by Lynsay sands and Anna Karenina by Tolstoy and Manson  (life and times of Charles manson) by Jeff Guinn.
All three amazing books. Now I am left to decide what to read next....the classic for may that I chose is pride and prejudice. I have been wanting to do a reread of it for awhile.
For book reviews, you can follow me on goodreads.

Classic?

I have this thing where I want to challenge myself to read one classic each month. Or at least try to 😉 my nook for this month is Anna Karenina by Tolstoy and so far it's pretty good. Although I sometimes feel that I should have started off with a shorter book. Last month( unintentional, it's where I got this idea from) I read Lolita by Nabokov and this month it's, like I said, Anna Karenina. Next month I want to try to read Les Miserables (probably spelled that wrong..oops) but I don't know with May being a busy month for schooling with my seven year old. We shall see though.

Oh hey!

Ok, I know that I have not published a post on this blog for practically a month now and I am super sorry for that. I've read warcross by Marie Lu and Lolita by Vladimir (somebody) and finished fantastic beasts and where to find them since the last post to this blog.
I will try to be more active in the future.
