Oh hey!

Ok, I know that I have not published a post on this blog for practically a month now and I am super sorry for that. I've read warcross by Marie Lu and Lolita by Vladimir (somebody) and finished fantastic beasts and where to find them since the last post to this blog.
I will try to be more active in the future.

Hey!

Ok, so I had this beautiful blog over on WordPress but I had trouble signing into it so I made a total new one. I don't use this very blog much because let's be honest....i forget to.  I love blogging though. I even am on Tumblr which is the motherload for those that blog.

I have not bought any new books recently. Mostly because I am saving for when all the new releases come out in May and September of 2018.  Thats a long time to wait but I must be strong! HAHA!

But if you don't hear from me through here, just go find me in WordPress and through Tumblr.  Happy Reading ✌

New books!

II just got the first two books in the Dorothy must die series and i replaced my copy of the outsiders yesterday. I had to replace it because my other copy was so torn up.it makes me sad to see it so torn up.and I got the first two books in the wizard of oz retelling because I saw a YouTube review by tiny book Dragon  (go check out her channel) and she recommended them to me.there are total of four books but I could barely afford the ones I got. I will probably end up waiting to get the other ones and the short stories that come with it before actually reading them.i hate getting into a series and not being able to get my hands on the rest of the series.i like having the complete set or getting each one in the series like it's an adventure.
And sometimes it is.sometimes my local Wal-Mart may have the book I am looking for or I would have to drive like forty miles to tiger town (shopping center in Opelika Alabama)  to the books a million store there.anywaya...thats all for today.

Show some love!

I just finished reading Christmas caramel murder by Joanne Fluke.I read this book in a total of two days.I seem to do that with her books alot.they are just that awesome ;) And don't forget the recipes.each book has a set of recipes that are simple and easy to try.

Hannah Swenson is our lovable main character and in this book she is sitting down to eat with her man,Ross.in this book she's telling a story of a murder she witnessed instead it happening in real time. And like always she finds a body and goes through her usual snooping and finds the culprit.

I am only missing two books out of the entire series so far.the fudge cupcake murder and blueberry muffin murder.if I can get those then I will have her whole series except when she comes out with new ones of course.if you have not read the series,i highly suggest it.it's not begrudging like most murder mysteries.this series is light and fun. :)

I like big books and I cannot lie...

How do you acquire your books? Do you buy them at book sales or a book store?
I,on the other hand, do both.my local animal shelter hosts a book sale during the summer and I love it because their prices are $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardback books.how can you beat that? Lol! Plus it helps them raise money to maintain the animals they have.
The only local bookstore anywhere near me is a books-a-million store about thirty miles away in what we like to call "tiger town" which is really nothing more than a shopping center in the middle of auburn, alabama.(you know the university? Auburn tigers....) it's about thirty miles or so from my house but I love going.granted my husband always puts a limit on how much I can spend but hey it's something I enjoy.
I don't really get books for Christmas which is kind of odd considering how much I like them.I carry a book with me everywhere, even in my son's diaper bag (for real!) and I have this blog and a Facebook page by the same name....but yeah...happy reading!

Vampire academy

Good book.good series.it's different then most vampire novels.and there are five, I think, in the series.there is also a movie as well but I'm my opinion the movie doesn't really do the book justice.but then again I prefer books over movies sometimes so maybe it's just me.
The book follows two girls named lissa and rose as they first escape st.Vladimir's school and then are brought back.but inside the school they face new challenges.
That's really all going to say because I don't want to give away any spoilers.
